Lovely little exchange
Saturday, July 06, 2019
I had the best little exchange yesterday when I left the library. Next door to the library is the local center for 'disability' or what to call it. One of the 'guards' (security people) was in the hall, the doors were wide open. He was middle aged or older, with a small beard.
A woman walked by with her young daughter, the child was maybe 7 or 8 years old. She looked at the guard and said 'Hi!' to him with a bright, enthousiastic voice.
Right after that I walked by and looked at the guard and he looked at me with a big smile, quickly raised and lowered his eyebrows as if to say 'wow, she said hi to me!'.
I smiled at him and that was that, but that small event really cheered me up!
I posted this on the 'Positivity Team' that I started. Come join us if you feel like it! We'll lift one another up!
