It's up to me

Friday, August 09, 2019

I'm very glad that the other day when I was getting caught in a track of negative thoughts, I suddenly realized: HEY, I can keep on like this OR I can consciously shift my thoughts to a different, more positive track. It's up to me!

The next morning was I was doing my yoga exercises I suddenly became aware how I was thinking about whether it made sense to do those exercises, maybe I am doing them wrong, I am not goog enough at them, some exercises are painful for me, and so on.
I realized again that it's important to consciously think about how the yoga is good for me, to feel how it impacts me, and to pat myself on the back for doing the exercises!

I've been experiencing problems with racing/intrusive thoughts lately, after stopping using nearly all of my vitamins/supplements to try to sort my life out. I'm now slowly adding back in some of the vitamins/supplements that I've been using and looking up information that I used to make the initial decision to use them.

One particular mention was that B vitamins, and particularly B12, is very helpful in establishing mental stability. The same was mentioned for a source of Omega3, so I've added those two back in to my regimen. There's a lot of information on this topic available through an internet search...

Last month I had a death in my family and that has disrupted my life in a personal way
so I hope to get some stability back. I'm looking forward to success!

I read an article talking about YOUR yoga practice and it really turned my thinking around! MY yoga practice is different from YOUR yoga practice. I am advancing towards a different goal than you, too.

This changed my thinking: I am on my own path and I feel really good about it. I can see a lot of progress from where I started and i have things planned in the future that I am reaching for.

PS. Did my yoga today and am ready to do hard work!
