Eating good food.
Saturday, August 10, 2019
This year we signed up with a CSA for a weekly bag of veggies. We wanted to get fresh, and not sprayed food. And from a local source that we know. We are loving the weekly bag. This week there was sweet corn, egg plant, garbanzo beans, green beans, yellow potatoes, blue berries, cucumbers, beets, and tomatoes. Plus we are picking zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes (cherry), strawberries, hot peppers from our garden. Our heritage tomatoes will be a while yet.
Feel like we are eating well, and keeping away from the Ludwig deadly whites. Slowly losing some weight.
Going camping next week for the first time. My wife was hired by our church as accompanist for the last two weeks in June and all of July. She had a great time working with worship people and singers.
Last Wednesday, went fishing with my youngest son out in the ocean west of Tillamook Bay, Oregon. We were able to catch our limit of coho salmon. Not much that is better than fresh salmon grilled. (For us anyway).
