Blessed are the meek

Sunday, September 22, 2019

First Sunday I was in church in 3 weeks since we hit the news. Of course well meaning caring people gave their support of dissatisfaction over the details of the poorly written article. Yesterday i went out in public and threw candy in my husband’s hometown 150 birthday party with again support from that side of our small town. Without anyone knowing anything about this prior to the article, it is so obvious it is my daughter. The Lansing State Journal services a huge area. The sermon today was of course the beatitudes. Blessed are the meek - quiet, gentle, long suffering, patient, submissive and now I feel I am at odds with God! I don’t feel blessed, I don’t feel joyful, I am becoming inpatient, assertive and overbearing. I am frustrated!! The representative the detective is trying to get us to help verbalized she is only a freshman and doesn’t have the backing to write or present a bill. Do I admit defeat or Keep perusing?
