I think part of my motivation problem is keep deprivation. I am currently tracking my kids' daily activities and nighttime behaviors to see if I can spot a pattern on the days they fight me and on the days the go to bed on time. Then, I'll develop a plan to get them in bed on time. Then, I can work on my sleep.

Ooh, I like that idea. My 3.5 year old might understand. And if stops fighting me on sleep, then he won't keep the 1 year old up, nor will he wake the 7 year old. Thank you.

Hopefully the sleep deprivation becomes a thing of the past. Given your kids are so young, it is important that they always go to bed 'on time'? Maybe you could tell them that one night a week they can stay up a little later for a special treat, but not the other nights. I don't know if they are old enough for that concept, but it is a good way of teaching the day of the week.

    Good luck
