November Goals

Thursday, October 31, 2019

I lost 10 lbs. in October due to a medical issue. I am fine and feel great! However, I didn’t feel like cooking (I don’t like to cook anyway) or eating my usual size meals. I had to keep hydrated and it was a lot of water which made me feel full. I am still hydrating – I regularly do, but also eating smaller, healthier meals due to researching about how to help prevent kidney stones. I also walk to work almost every day. This is my November goal….keep the meals small and healthy and continue walking.

I'm sorry you had a medical issue last month. It's not the easiest way to lose weight. Congrats on shedding 10 lbs. I like your goals for November. Good luck!

I'm with you - I lost 10# between September & October due to weird, unexplained, and yet undiagnosed daily fevers. It's not the ideal way to lose weight.

If you're not into cooking and have a Pret A Manger near you, they have these mini pots that make for good, small meals. I'm not so much advocating the buying of them, but I recommend you look at what they put in those tiny pots to make a satisfying meal or snack. There's no reason you couldn't cook a meal, and divvy it up into little pots. If you search for "PRET POTS" the website lists them all and their ingredients. I don't have a pot in front of me to tell you the size, but I'd guess no more than 4-6 oz. And the most caloric of them is 320 cals. Just a thought... Be Well.

Good planning. A good goal. A little like what I am doing.
