Ending Week 3 - .1 lb Loss - 4.2 Lbs Total

Sunday, November 10, 2019

No Progress this week and honestly I am thankful I didn't gain. I was in training this week Wednesday thru Friday and stressed as I am preparing to take a State Exam that I am required to take as terms on my employment.

I did make it to the gym every single day this week. I feel good about that. During the Fitbit Work Week Hustle I got in 59,969 steps. Considering I was stuck in a chair all day with only a lunch and two breaks half the week that is a win.

My eating however was off. I was stress eating. Something I am going to pay more attention to because I really haven't. What are my triggers and why am I turning to food. My normal planned meals simply were not appealing. My portions were to big and I just gave myself a pass. Had that not been the case I would have been reporting a pretty nice loss because I was actually down 2lbs last Tuesday.

I am busy today meeting a friend at the gym and then going to plan my week. This week I am going to make a point of eating properly. It drives me nuts to work so hard and blow it or not see results.

This week was a week of learning...…

Lesson Learned.

I Can and I Will..... Watch Me.

I agree with Mermaidlife. You did a lot of things right. Focus on those and give yourself a lot of congratulations. J

Planning is the key for me. When I know what I am going to have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I do so much better. It's trying to do it on the fly that gets me trouble. I have come to realize that I need to eat to survive and not survive to eat. It has taken me eons to realize that and truly practice it. Do I still slip back, you betcha. But then again I turn it around again with the next meal.

You can do this Lisa, you have it in you. I'm trying to get in more exercise and kudos to getting to the gym everyday. i never seem to do that, so I cancelled my membership. Hubby and I are going to start up again in January when they have terrific offers on membership. In the meantime, I'm moving here on the treadmill and stationary bike. I also have weights, so I definitely have no excuse.

    Keep on this journey.

Remember to give yourself credit where credit is due. Sure, there are things you could have improved on this week, but look at everything you did right! You certainly didn't "blow it." It was a stressful week, and you could have done a lot worse. Overall, I'd say you did a pretty good job, and you're more aware going into this new week. You've got this!
