Energy is a Wonderful Thing
Wednesday, December 04, 2019
I was able to sleep a little longer this morning as Tim dropped Isaac off at school on his way to work. Once I got up and around I had breakfast and then got down to business with my 21-day prayerful planner and Bible study.
I am finding that the Verse for the year is not coming easily because when I think I've got it something else starts showing up instead. Regardless, I need to get busy on the 2020 goal and vision pages and get some things tagged such as birthdays, etc. throughout.
Next I had some paid work emails to address and then chose to get all the rest of the budget reviews finished for the month so I worked on those most of the afternoon. The nice part about doing the reviews is that it is very easy to watch movies at the same time so I made use of new Christmas offerings on Netflix.
One I wasn't sure I would like as much really surprised me. It's called "Holiday in the Wild" and it is definitely worth a view if you get a chance.
As my energy level was still up and I was in the Christmas mood I pulled up the Christmas letter that only had a list of 2019 happenings so far.
Figured going through photos to pull up to match some events was a good starting place and it did work well. Once I figured out the opening sentence things just went together. It's always that first line! I emailed it to Tim and he already sent his additions and edits back tonight so I'll finish it up tomorrow other than the last details from the Seattle trip and getting our family photo taken. Such a relief having this piece of the holidays almost finished.
Tonight I watched some of the CMA Christmas show and then switched over to The Voice. I've got several that I haven't seen so catching up and will finish tomorrow as I'm down to the most recent ones.
personal finances - still haven't finished balancing the Nov. budget
more Christmas movies and working on the letter and cards
Rockefeller Center Christmas show in the evening
Depending on the weather and how I feel may use my breaks from being in a chair for setting up the nativity scene outside.
