Here we are already in DECEMBER!
The first week of DECEMBER started off with a tremendous snow storm on the east coast here in the USA. Lots of heavy snow fell pulling many trees down but leaving ten inches plus of beautiful white snow on the ground with ice covering all the trees- like diamonds!. It looked like a frozen wonderland- just beautiful. Freezing- I did stand outside on my back porch for awhile and just breathed in all the fresh cold air while enjoying the glistening beauty of it all around me. I love winter.
In October I made a decision to stop eating red meat. I have replaced it with eating more Salmon and other types of fish. Since my DH is a fisherman for sport we always have an abundance of fish. I have also reduced the amount of eggs I was consuming, which was one dozen a week, to just four eggs per week. This has made a significant difference in my blood work. My doctor was very pleased that all my number which were previously good but now are excellent!!! I managed to lose more weight too. Another ten pounds would be perfect.
I am hoping I will see that final goal weight of 135 pounds on the scale January 1st 2020.
BUT if I don't - I will just continue to work at it because I know that I will be still be enjoying good health by following my current food plan.
