I'm going to use this blog to keep track of not only my weight, but my life.
I've started some new medication recently that I am hoping will improve my life and this the lives' of everyone around me. I hope to track my days here so I can see how it is doing.
Yesterday we had a snowstorm and got about 6-8" of snow. The kids went out first thing this morning to build a snowman. It kept them busy for a couple hours and gave me time to clean around the house and get my workout in with just a few interruptions.
My youngest was so jealous. So was Rubble, haha.
Then they painted. And played Charades. And took a long bath. And and and... Whew. Being stuck in these four walls all day took a bit of a toll on me. We usually go out on Saturday to the gym since the Hubby has to work all day- they go to the daycare for 2 hours while I get my best workout of the week in. Then we go swimming, have a little lunch, etc. The roads were just too bad for me to want to drive the next town over.
I did make this fabulous pasta salad.
Those are chickpea noodles in it, avocados, chicken, tomatoes, basil and purple onions. It is delicious and GREAT for you too. I'm hoping the Hubby likes it. He is craving something different.
I'm down ten lbs since starting to lose again, so that is really great. I like my weight around 135-140, depending how fit I am. I got up to 210 with my last baby (born 1/25/19). I always gain a ton of weight when I'm pregnant. I'm now just working on the last 14lbs and getting some muscle to me. :)
My biggest challenge today was getting my older two to focus. I felt like I was talking to a wall. They ate great, had tons of time doing things but when it came time for them to pick up their room, it was a battle. Not because they were saying no, just because they kept doing ablousy job, stopped cleaning to play, etc etc. Really wore on me. I need to find another way to get them to do it in a timely, orderly fashion. Something to think about.
