Keeping Track 002

Sunday, January 12, 2020

Well, here I go, trying this for a second day in a row. Today was really great, very few bumps emotionally.

My husband went to church early and so my daughter and I were up at 5am. Breakfast was done for the kids by 7am. I did an AWESOME workout, the 2nd level of yoga meltdown. Was amazing. Then I made myself a little breakfast.

Then we all went out to buy some sleds. It was snowing like crazy again today, so we went to a local hill to sled! Here is the crew, minus me since I'm taking the picture :)

The husband and I took turns holding the baby at the bottom while the other one went up to sled with the kids. The hill was a long walk, but the kids didn't want our help so we were sledding too. Soooo much fun.

Afterwards, I drove to my mom's to take my niece out to see her horse. My parents didn't want to drive in all the snow. Helped my dad with some stuff on the computer, then came home and snuggled my family.

All in all it was a good day. Lots of exercise and family time. It's back to work tomorrow and I have a few things that are really pressing that need to get done. It may be a snow day tomorrow, we are supposed to get another 3" of snow tonight. We will see, but part of me hopes so!!!

I have to laugh - just seeing that little pink bundle in a snow suit reminded me of all the times I had to carry my slippery baby through the woods. What a happy day this must have been. Hope you get your snow day.
