In the movie Pride and Prejudice, the younger sister, Lydia, behaves like the foolish in Matthew 25.

Do you know the voice of the Bridegroom? (Matthew 25:1-13; Hebrews 1:1-4; Revelation 19:7).
Jesus said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:23-26).
While watching the movie Pride and Prejudice I realized how the younger sister, Lydia, behaves like the foolish Virgins in Matthew 25. Even though the foolish are looking for a bridegroom, the foolish flit around flirting with anyone and everyone who pays them the slightest attention. They are not preparing for the return of the King of kings for His bride.
On a day known only to God the Father, our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, will return for a bride who loves Him 100%. I pray we will be wise and ready (Revelation 19:7)
