My daughter has been fever free and is begrudgingly on her way to school today. Yay. I've made the best of her being home by getting a little bit done around the house yesterday, but mostly lots of snuggles. Today I go in to the office. I have some projects that will keep me busy. I've been working on getting caught up after our computer issue, but then also purging some old records. We are a speciality practice, so we don't always see a pet for the full spectrum of their life. We have computer records that exist from 96 when the software was purchased. That means I've been deleting records for patients that are saying they over 20 years old. That is pretty rare for a dog or cat. And while our new server does work faster, it still takes a while to do various searches I do when it has to sort through thousands of patients, and many are unnecessary. legally we only need to keep records for 7 years, but we are going beyond that. Anyway, it's a slow process. I also have other projects to work on.
I was able to get to the gym again last night, which was good. I also stopped at Target. It's dangerous they are right next to each other. I got a new tshirt with baby yoda on it. A great little treat for making it to the gym this week. Yesterday was also a good day for food. My daughter talked me into going to subway, her favorite lunch. I got the rotisserie chicken chopped salad. But they discontinued their Caesar dressing. I'm not a huge ranch fan, so we brought our lunch back home and I added some poppyseed dressing I made. Yay for good choices.
