Yesterday went well with my fasting day. But I made the mistake of getting on the scale and it was not down. I am upset. I get so discouraged and mad at myself when that happens and that is why I was only going to weigh in once a week. I need to remember that. I don't want to make today a fasting day because the social worker and I went to the shops in our neighborhood and got donations for an event at our building. Starbucks donated coffee and pastries and Chipotle donated cooked beef. The social worker is making that in to some thing and we are having that for lunch today. The coffee and pastries will be breakfast. Now the question is since the scale is still up do I fast today or enjoy the treats?

    Kathryn you look so good and have done so great losing weight in the past I believe you have some wiggle room unless you are absolutely determined to lose the remainder pounds to reach your goal weight by a certain date. I have not weighed myself this week, but I would be really surprised by Saturday to find that I have lost weight this week by just being aware of my body. Am I disappointed yes, but I am not mad at myself. However, if I have gained weight Saturday I will get out my goals and motivation notebook, review the things that I did wrong to gain weight and start over - one step at a time.

    You worked hard with your social worker to get the donations so will you feel deprived not to join in the festivities and sabotage yourself later? Tough decision. emoticon
