In the Garden

Sunday, January 26, 2020

Reading ALEXSGIRL1's blog sent me to YouTube for the song "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms". Of course, in the queue were like-minded songs . "In the Garden" came up next, which brought me to tears. I remember my mom singing this song, although I didn't know the title at the time. Check it out:

As my mom would say "more room out than in", so I'm going to just let the tears fall. She died in 2007 of pancreatic cancer. It has been a long time, but it doesn't take much for the pain to hit me anew. I miss her so much!!

Please hold your dear ones close or at the very least, let them know you love them. Sending you all peace and blessings!

I remember "Leaning on the everlasting arms" ... and In the Garden. Though there is loss and longing for our loved ones, what a comfort to know she is indeed in the everlasting loving arms of our Heavenly Father---and that you will see her again one day. Blessings to you. emoticon

Once they are gone, there is nothing you can say to them. My Mom and Dad have been gone for many years, but I feel very close to them and can just sit quietly and feel them around me
