I've learned a lot on this walk of life thus far and will continue to do so as long as I'm vertical. The most important to me right now is to be kinder to my body. Make good healthier food choices, move more and just enjoy all that life has to offer. None of the previous are a perfect mix but I'm working on it.
I've been spending more time reading. It's wonderful to have the use of the library. I chose my books by the look of the cover or interesting title. I never read the jacket. This system has worked for me so far and then I'm always surprised about the books contents. I read 37 books in 2019. Just think of all the places I'll visit in 2020.
I'm logging daily food/beverage/exercise more frequently. It's the only way to hold myself accountable and for me to be successful. My better half is monitoring glucose levels these days so it's easier for us to cook at home. Meal prepping for the work week has become a part of my life as well. That is a HUGE time savings for the work week for me.
I'm preparing many music lists for exercising from Spotify. It has brought me back to music from the past. Good music is a must for keeping my momentum going to exercise. I must admit...I hate to exercise but always feel better once I've engaged myself. I have gotten up at 4:30 am during the work week and have revisited my treadmill 31 days consistently and counting. I had to dust off my treadmill for the first use after two years (YIKES) and was hoping it would start. I'm adding strength to the month pf February. It's all about planning until it becomes a habit for me.
I've made a great start to 2020 and the age of 64. To be continued....
