Happy Monday - First ever Ab workout

Sunday, February 02, 2020

Um.... I had no idea I looked as nice as this now?? :)

My new workout outfit:

Today I am.. 107.4kg/236lbs

Featured here with Mt Foldallday. I have 3 massive baskets of washing to do hehe

Well from the injury yesterday I tried to work out abs... I really.. have no clue how to do it or what to do...
Today I did
Bicycles 15x3, (elbow touching alternating knee) leg raises 15x3 (struggled with this and it hurt my injured lower back so changed it to just ankle raises as i felt that work the lower abs)
double crunch 15x3 cable crunch 15x3 (I flung a resistance band over the cross trainer and used that as a makeshift cable machine) plank 30sec x 3, reverse crunch 15x3

I also did dynamic stretching before, static after, and 10 mins elliptical and 10 mins hiit sprints
for a total of 65 mins! :D
Perhaps I went very slow? cos I'm learning (had to go look at form several times) but that's what you get when you're a beginner, its all good

As a reward I'm having a collagen vita supplement drink :)

I'm excited to be 1lb away from 25 lbs down

I preplanned my meals on the tracker today to hit all my macros, Spinachy eggs, chicken breast with buttered cauliflower mash, chicken thigh with broccoli and bacon (and each dish has 2 or 3T of fat like cheese/mayo/coconut oil/olive oil etc) (Cos I'm on Keto)

Nothing much else in my life going on....
A desire for . out door adventure is growing -I was thinking today.. I'd love to go re do the Queenstown trip I did a decade ago, Perhaps do a parachute jump/ do the nevis swing/ to the mountain carts... etc
I'm really into "over coming fears" nothing makes me happier (last time i did the shot over jet and nevis swing and an amazing out door, thousand candle spa over the snowwy mountains)

Here's a picture of the nevis swing.. from memory it was 230 meters high - height doesnt bother me, but the SPEED! was unimaginable, :D

Yep it's a fear to over come, Clearly I did - WE are all naturally born with it at 18 months of age :) Everything is overcomable, ..... within reason.. Mindset did nothing for me when I felt my heart failing inside my body, but .. then you turn to the lord almighty and stop being stubborn. So yeah ! :D
here I am ! FULLY RECOVERED! (another thing to overcome) so I can do stuff like this :D
