Keep on Trucking

I started this journey to lose weight, feel better, be healthier, confident and be more alive for my family and myself on 12/30/2019. My weight started at 230 pounds, the heaviest I have been even when I was pregnant. My clothes were starting to get tighter and I was going to have to go up a size. I didn't want to go buy more clothes and I didn't want to buy a size larger. We have a wellness program through work that I had heard about. Insurance pays for everything. I work with a medical Dr. who is helping me through my weight loss process. I have not used an MD before now. I do find it is helpful. Full disclosure I am on a diet pill but it has no ephedrine or amphetamine in it. I also receive monthly B-12 shots at my appointment.
During my first appointment I decided I wanted to lose between 1.5-2 pounds per week. I know that losing slowly you have a better chance at keeping it off. She set my daily calories at 1500. My first couple weeks I did not take the diet pill due to filling issues at the pharmacy. I found it difficult to reduce all the way down to 1500. So I decided on a compromise. 1750 per day but had to do a minimum of 250 in exercise. I didn't start the diet pill until 2 weeks into the weightloss start. I actually was doing pretty well without it. That being said, since starting it I have seen a difference in cravings. I don't crave sweet the way I did before. I also feel thirsty (side affect) and have a little more energy but not give you the shakes energy. Feels like a normal healthy energy.
I just went to my third appointment. I lost 5 pounds in the last month. Perfect! Right on track with what I want to be doing. At this rate I should be able to lose all that I need in 6 months.
Now I am interested in looking into potential body sculpting to go with it as I progress. I am researching as I don't know much about it. That might not even be something I can do for my body type. My main concern is I already have a front sagging belly and I don't want a lot of excess skin at the end of my weightloss. I know losing slowly my skin will be able to keep up. I know I need to be doing some weighlifting exercises to help reduce this as well. I have not yet started that. My exercise right now consists of walking 30-60 min per day.
I have lost 15.4 pounds since 12/30 according to my tracking. I feel good, my knees aren't hurting as much. My clothes are feeling looser. And I look forward to doing my one month measurements and pics next weekend.
