Start of March 2020

Saturday, February 29, 2020

As I sat down this morning to do my daily log in to SP for my dose of motivation, inspiration, accountability and community I was surprised at how quickly this year has moved along so far.
It is March already, how can that be? So soon!
For many years now March has been my most challenging month on all personal levels. It is a bitter sweet time of memories and reminders.
For many decades now I have "run away" or "kept busy" during March, particularly the first part of it.
I have taken on many new challenges and opportunities in early March over the years and this year is no different. This year is the start of my changes to my health. I want some very simple things to change (and I am committed to making every effort to make sure I do everything I can to effect that change).
I want to put my height and weight in a calculator and not have it say BMI obese, I want to have more energy and stamina and be more mobile. I want to wear clothes I love not things that fit. I want to be able to enjoy life's experiences (from hot air ballooning to boating to remote islands) without worrying about vessels weight limits and my own ability to get on and off them.
More than any year for a very long time this will be my March. A time to remember, reflect, count my blessings and succeed at making it full of more wonderful new memories of time spent with family and friends.
Today was my 60 plus SP login streak (this time around) and I have already lost over 9 kilograms and increased my daily steps from the low 2000's to over 6000. With the help and support of SP I am getting closer every day to the me I want to be.

Yes, this year went by so fast. Cannot hardly believe it. We turn our clocks back up March 8th and then Spring. Already at the quarter of the year mark.
