Women's walking clinic begins today

Every year here in Arkansas, there is a 10 week program where a diverse group of women get together twice a week to walk or run. The goal for everyone is merely to improve their walking or running capacity and endurance - hopefully speed also, but this is about fitness, not speed per se.

It's incredibly freeing to be in this large group of ladies who have a common goal - not trying to impress anyone (other than themselves) and cheering each other on. At the end of the 10 weeks, there is a graduation party/5K to celebrate our achievements!
