Today was the end of the Winter 5% challenge. This has been a very emotional one for me. So many things have happened that have affected me in so many ways. It is still difficult to think of friends that have lost everything, but came through the tragedy with only their lives. So many volunteers have been and continue to help clean up the rubble and help families salvage what they can from the storm. Strangers are helping these precious people to try to cope with what they are having to deal with. Through all of this, they give God the praise for sparing them. We have such strong people living in our rural areas and in the suburbs that it gives me encouragement to make the best of every day. I haven't done as well as I should have in this challenge, but I feel that I now have a better insight into what each day should be. I will be doing the In-between challenge and then be back for the Spring 5% challenge. This is a good way to get and stay on track. There is so much encouragement here that it compares to strangers helping victims coming through the storm. It's amazing just how much a little push in the right direction can help. Thank all of you for being there.
