Staying home for Holy Week

Saturday, April 04, 2020

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday. Our church has services online every Sunday, not just during this time when we are home bound because of Coronavirus. But they are making the services more family oriented now since the children will likely be with their parents watching at home. Our church will have an online Good Friday service as well, and also Easter of course.

DH and I are doing ok being at home. I have gone out to the grocery store the last two Mondays but early in the morning while it is still clean and well stocked. We are both at risk because of our age and our health issues.

I continue to make some foods in the kitchen that I don't normally take the time to make. It's been kind of fun. I'm trying hard not to gain weight, to even lose what I had recently gained. It's not easy.

We did take a drive to a safari park to drive through it and see the animals. It was nice to get out and about when we can since our State is not yet on "shut down".

Stay well everyone.

Carolyn, It sounds like you are doing things the way we are. It isn't as hard being home as I had thought.

MN. has been shut down for a while now but not SD,ND, NE and IA. All border states. I understand our Gov'n is concerned. We are still in TX on lockdown but going out on Tues. early AM for Senior shopping hour. But taking care of mom and getting meals to her is our priority as of now. Take care!
