Any other fanatical people...

Monday, April 06, 2020

Hey, I just thought I would share something I've been doing, haven't seen anyone else mention something like this, but I do live a sheltered life for the most part. Lol!

Since latex gloves are hard to come by, I bought cheap quart size plastic bags to handle stuff with, like my mail and mailbox. My mail lady does not wear gloves and really, what good are they if she wears them all day touching one after the other mailboxes anyway?
I just slip one over my hand, I am able to grip things with it and they are easy to slide your other hand into to turn inside out and dispose of.

Just thought I would share, every little bit helps, right? Right!

Be safe friends!

The mail lady would be better off wearing gloves for her own sake...

We use a tissue or a paper towel to grap / touch things that others touched. I also made a point of disenfecting my doorbell for the sake of the delivery people who stop by our house more often now.

Good life hack! I haven't picked up my mail in days just to avoid bringing that germy mess into my house. I'm sure there are many others like me and the mailboxes nation wide are getting overstuffed. I'll probably do it today and just take it all directly to my trash and recycling outdoors, so I only bring what we absolutely need into the house. Love the plastic bag idea, especially since gloves can be hard to get right now.

We use empty plastic bags to do the same thing.

    Good tip! Thanks!

I just hate to see that people are wearing gloves into stores and then just taking them off and throwing them down in the parking lot. Seriously, what is wrong with people.

Good idea! I use a dish towel and then throw it in the wash. I also started using cloth napkins, the ones we have that coordinates with our tablecloths, and now we can save our paper products and itโ€™s just as sanitary. Prettier too!!
