Five Months of 2020…Over and Out
Monday, June 01, 2020
May brought some changes in my routine and in my life. I quit my job and I am officially retired from all employment. I plan to use this time to focus on my health issues. Once they are, hopefully, under control I will seek out volunteer opportunities to get me “out of the house.” However, for now, I’m good.
I actually lost a couple of pounds in May, dropping me below my maintenance goal weight. It wasn’t intentional but, oddly enough, I don’t have the cravings and emotional eating issues I had at the start of the long isolation period. While I am not eating 100% to plan, I find myself making more good choices than not. Also, I think, since I am practicing portion control (even with my not so good for me choices) it is helping me remain stable and accountable.
Las Vegas has begun opening up and, while it affords me more opportunities to get out and go, I am still practicing personal self-isolation in most cases. I probably will feel more comfortable in the months ahead but for now, again, I’m good.
Anyway, it is a new month affording lots of on plan opportunities so let’s keep moving forward people.
