Its been awhile since I have blogged. The last couple months have been crazy. Between everything going on in the world, and then my Mom has been sick. She was diagnosed with Leukemia about a month and a half ago. She is doing pretty good, but was in the hospital about a month for treatment. So its been an emotional rollercoaster. All this- I really fell off track and have really been struggling. I have been trying to get back on track, but its been rough. For the month of June, I am going to make some simple goals where I know that will help get back on track.
1. Water! Drink lots of water- aim for atleast 64 ounces of water, more if its hot and especially days you walk. Also, start getting away for pop and sugary drinks. 1 is ok once in awhile but not several a day or even in a week.
2. Eat healthier- Eat more veggies, proteins, etc. Stop snacking as much and eat actual meals. Limit snacks, especially unhealthy ones. Measure everything. Start tracking, even if its just writing it down. Concentrate on trying to eat 3 meals a day, instead of snacking off and on all day.
3. Exercise- exercise more- even if it its just a 10 mins a day. Walk up and down the driveway, go for a short walk. Move more, eat less! Try to go on atleast a 60 minute walk 5 days a week.
Im going to concentrate on these 3 things for June. Simple, but yet important goals.
