Well, last year I made a decision that after turning 65 I would entire into retirement. Birthday was in September but I made sure I gave all my co-workers and the individuals I support plenty of time to get used to the idea of my leaving work to enter into retirement. The official retirement date was decided upon as June 1st - entering into the nicer weather. Little did I know that we would have to deal with pandemic issues in 2020! All the more reason I am glad I chose to retire at this time. Unfortunately, with the social distancing in effect, there was no retirement party but they have assured me that there will be one once it is safe to do so. I have been told by many co-workers and individuals that I definitely will be missed. I'm glad that I have had an impact on these people over the past fifteen years. Excited to be moving on to the next chapter in my life now~ emoticon
