A big part of permanent weight loss, for those of you who follow my story, is not setting a time frame. Who cares how long it takes you to lose weight, just do it one pound and one choice at a time. Deadlines set you up to fail and panic sets in when you see them coming. Make a goal of feeling a particular way, doing certain things, wearing types of clothes, but be realistic. Setting yourself up to weigh what you did in high school without your high school metabolism and schedule is not realistic. Neither is losing 2 pounds every week for your whole weight loss plan... Forget the deadline and unrealistic crazies and seek more than numbers in your life. Seek feeling better and better.
