Switching Focus

I will say, frankly, 2020, so far has personally not been a stellar year. I am pro-positively and have tried to live that way. However, I have been hit with a series of health and personal issues that has tested my resolve. Sorry to say I have not always passed on the positively meter.

Now, I have been diagnosed with Covid19. Also found a mass on my lung. In hospital. Being treated, no need for ventilation. IV infusions and medication right now. Testing today to define the mass. Probably a part of the Covid since lung damage is usually involved. I’ll let you know how it goes.

However, what I realized today is that my focus has all been on the “bad” things that have happened without reflecting on how truly fortunate I am. Yes, I have had an unhealthy year but at the same time I have uninterrupted health coverage that has allowed me the privilege of being able to work on those issues without being burdened with financial stress.

Family members have died. However, they suffered for many years and since I do believe, they now rest with Him free of discomfort and pain.

I had to give up work but I don’t have to worry and stress about my bills being paid.

So, I am deciding as I should have all along to remember I believe in positively. For every negative there is a positive. That with all the with bad there will come some good.

Most important I remembered that I don’t carry this burden alone. All I need to do is turn my worry over to God and just take care of my Earthly part.

So refocused and reaffirming. He believes in me, time for me to remember, I believe in Him too.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

Be well, God bless, take care.
