Forgiving yourself.

Sunday, July 05, 2020

My last vlog post i was talking about how my husband has been helping me with some mental health stuff. Basically, forgiving myself and others. How holding onto that is like me holding onto my weight. I never realized it till we were talking about it that I was doing that. I use my weight as a shield to protect me. If I am fat people won't want to be around me. But it wasn't that at all.

It was me holding onto the weight, the hurt, the guilt, etc. So I have have been working hard on forgiving myself and others. Working on letting go over the hurts and words that injured me. It is time for those wounds to heal and scar over.

Since I have been working on all this, I feel lighter and happier. I feel I can accomplish my goals. I still worry about letting people in but I am working on that. It takes time, I am finally taking the time to work on me. Inside and out.
