Day Three After First Physical Therapy Session
Friday, July 10, 2020
Well, I am optimistic that this physical therapy will work and get my legs back working again. My muscles and bones seem to finally be loosening up just a bit but I've got a long way to go. I'm learning these things on my own as the therapists is not offering any advice other than the actual exercises I have to do. I have learned to straightened my legs out as I take a step and to walk at a slower pace to eliminate the pain I have been living with. Guess it's true what they say that the best teacher if yourself. I'm learning how to alleviate the pain on my own by trial and error and it's working. So I've learned you have to take things into your own hands and find your own solutions to your problems that solve them for you. Who would've guessed that? Also, pain is the worst as I awake in morning so I have to remember to take a lot of water upon arising in the morning so that the affected areas of my spine have the needed lubrication they need to move the way they need to.
What a journey this has been. And to think that I'm the one coming up with the needed remedies to make things right again. Well, I'll just keep doing what I've been doing, only I'll increase the amount of time I'm doing them.
