Spice it Up

I love using spices in my cooking. If you are salt sensitive, you might want to substitute salt with spices.
One of my favorite spice to use is garlic. The health benefits of this spice are well known. Garlic might just help if you have these issues.
Might fight common cold, may help reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, may help with Alzheimer, detox heavy metals and improve athletic performance.
Use ground (I use organic), or grate it fresh. Be careful of supplements though. Always check with a doctor before taking any supplement. Garlic supplements can interfere with certain meds.
A great meat rub is garlic and rosemary (rosemary may have anti-inflammatory properties and helps boost immune system).
Enjoy a little spice in your life with a little fresh or ground garlic in your food to replace salt.
