Ten Minute Do-its for August - Task #3
Saturday, August 15, 2020
These Ten Minute Do-its are an attempt to distract myself when I feel 'boredom' or 'procrastination' snacking coming on. It should be something that makes me move and gives that satisfactory feeling of a job well done.
Task #1 was Plant Rescue.
Task #2 was Sweep the indoor sills.
Task #3 is Shed the Shoes
You know how, when you go to a Shoe Store, you try a pair on, eye your ankles in a low mirror and strut up and down a bit to test the shoes' suitability.....
Well, if you're a bit like me, you have some pairs of lesser worn shoes in a wardrobe/cupboard somewhere. Some may even still be snuggled in their cosy boxes.
This Ten Minute Do-it is to drag those boxes etc out; strategically position a mirror and pop those shoes on. Walk about a bit - 60 steps in a minute?
If they are too tight, too toe-pinchy, too high, too ankle-twisty/wobbly, then Shed those Shoes. Be ruthless. Someone in a Good Will Shop will have the right feet for them.
Make up the Ten Minutes with a walk in your favorite every day pair. Bliss!
