More after hurricane Laura

Tuesday, September 01, 2020

I live in the country just outside of Leesville Louisiana. Leesville and surrounding area is still with out power. We are running a generator. We had to drive 2 hours to find a gas station with gas to fill truck and gas cans for generator. There was a riot at one of Leesville gas stations and the National Guard is in charge of the lines for gas. The lines are blocks long to get into a gas station with gas. One of our drug stores are only open for 5 hours a day. And almost every where you have to have cash. The machines don't work because of no electricity. We have also been under a Heat advisory since the Hurricane. So no electric means no AC. Makes people hateful and lazy. I haven't done much exercise but have been picking up yard. Today was my turn on the internet. So I decided to post to you all. Please keep Louisiana in your Prayers.

Lived through hurricanes myself so definently praying for you and everyone. I know it's hard, but try to stay calm and cheery. Things will improve. God is with you.
