Meal Tracker Benefit

After eating my breakfast today I decided to track my meal. I then anticipated my snack and lunch and saw how close I was to my daily calorie count. At first I thought I would need to cut out my snack in order to stay within my calorie count, then I noticed that simply baking my fries and putting 1 table spoon instead of 2 tbs of guacamole with my lunch with my lunch cut down about 300 calories. This left me able to have my snack of tortilla chips and salsa for snack and 3 square healthy meals.
I learned that a few simple tweaks using my nutrition tracker can enhance my meal plan without feeling like I have to make a huge sacrifice.
