Whatever The Reason

I went for a long walk around the back fields this morning and it suddenly hit me that there was a pep in my steps and much to my surprise I noticed I was striding instead of plodding along! It could be that the weather is cooler and much nicer for walking. Or it could be that I am down eight pounds. Maybe I am just more into exercising in earnest. Whatever the reason, I will take it. My hubby mentioned casually over coffee on the porch that he is down a pound and he looked especially pleased. He has been fighting this pound for months but I think now that I am watching what I eat, he is too. Although he mentioned that we really have not been serious about dieting! Excuse me!! I told him that I have been very serious about dieting for several weeks.....he watches me track my food. Argh! I have been easing into exercising by making sure I do at least 10,000 steps, 10 minutes on the exercise bike and 5 minutes on the dreaded elliptical. Next month I will look into changing it up a bit. I still don't look who I see in the mirror but I'm working on it.

    You are doing so well, Kat! I have been on a plateau since July, but I am trying to step things up this week and see if I can actually get below 183 by the end of the week. We shall see how it goes. I have yet to venture into the mysterious world of the 182s....
