Trying to lose some weight seems like it would be easy; just eat less and exercise more!! But we all know it is not easy. Staying the same weight is difficult enough!
After years of "trying" to lose some weight, I hope and will try harder to do it this time.
Where have I gone wrong? Well, I know that when I sit down to a meal, I forget my weight loss goals and concentrate on the meal. This happens most often to me at dinner. I also have cravings in the evening when I watch TV and am relaxing. Being aware of those two things, I am going to have some tactics ready.
Being too hungry before dinner and getting that "Oh, well" attitude is a problem, unless I am aware of this when I sit down, put my food on my plate and simply enjoy what is there and then "QUIT".
My "late evening eating" is sometimes solved if I chew gum or eat fruit instead of chocolate.I also can ask myself if I am really hungry. Realizing that I am not, helps me decide.
Having my "weakness" in mind and having tactics ready, I will give this challenge my best effort.
