My next running challenge

What can I say - I’m hooked!
I finished my first ever virtual running challenge early this week. It was a 222-mile Race Across Wisconsin, which started June 1 and ran through September 30.
My goal was to use this challenge to increase my running speed and stamina - I had spent months running 1.5-2 miles, 2 times a week - and to push myself to cross-train. I knew I wouldn’t be finishing without those cross-training miles! You can see that I really upped my mileage during this challenge.
My next challenge is a 100-mile challenge that started October 1 and runs through November 30. This one I want to finish with just running miles. October 1 was also the day I had to pick a new running program and I decided to ramp up to a 10K! If I follow the program then I WILL finish this challenge!
Very excited, and focusing less on cross-training cardio and more on strength training, stretching, flexibility, and keeping myself injury-free! And REALLY looking forward to this shirt and medal!!
