Just over a week now since I started watching what I was eating. Been tracking everything I eat and cutting back on carbs. I can't believe how much better my stomach has been feeling already. I had been taking Tums at least twice a day someday even more and now I haven't taken any since last Saturday.
Even if I don't lose a pound, not having the daily stomach pain is such an accomplishment!
Most days my carbs have been around 50 but there have been as much as 100 if I chose pasta or bread. But before...I was consuming around 175-225 a day.
My breakfast had consisted of toast with jam, cereal, french toast or waffles. Lunches were usually frozen meals, left over pasta, sandwiches or pizza. Dinner always consisted of pasta, potatoes, bread and sometimes evening dessert of ice cream.
I know I'm making better choices. Trying to keep my carbs to fruits and vegetables. I have been looking up recipes for more low carb meals. Today I had a tuna salad wrap with lettuce, cheese, and cucumbers. It was delicious and left room for a small serving of angel hair pasta with my baked chicken tonight.
This weekend I need to experiment with low carb pancakes or something cause eggs everyday just won't cut it.
Open to ideas or even recipes if anyone has any to share.
