Sorry I have not posted for awhile.

I had not realized it has been since August my last post! I have, believe or not, been busy despite C-19. I was able to finally move my wood cuttings for winter into my garage from the take down of a dead tree in my yard. It was my favorite tree so I was so sad to see it die.
My fall decorations both inside and out side are up. I managed to grease my garage door opener myself since Sears, who was supposed to a safety check and upkeep which they emailed me a special rate, decided at the last moment (without calling me to advise) that my house was to far away to handle!!! They have been doing this for over 25 years and now I am too far away!!! So I checked things myself and did the maintenance. I did find another company I could use perhaps next year.
I am a part of one of the diet challenges and have lost, so far, a pound a week. I have also been discovering that increased sleep has helped me to lose the weight.
I and my family are healthy and well and no C-19. I do wear a mask and social distance. Which has been hard. I have not been able to have my Book Chat or Writer's Circle club meeting since April. We met in March just before the C-19 was announced. I did manage to finish another book and got it published on Amazon but have not started a new one as yet.
My stress these past 8 months has been higher than it was when I first left home at age 20 with only the clothes on my back and no job. That is a long story. But I was able to finish college, get married, increase my skills and careers. I, at one time, was on food stamps and no health insurance. So I can identify with those who are unemployed and struggling. But this C-19 has brought back the stress I had but a bit higher.
I hope ALL of you are safe and well. Please keep safe and well. Adversity does make us stronger.
