Random List of Thirteen Things About Me

1) I am left handed
2) I am extremely directionally challenged and have a close relationship with my GPS.
3) I've been to Stirling Castle in Scotland but have yet to watch Braveheart because we were eating pepperoni pizza when it first came on and the bloody scene grossed out my whole family.
4) I once got lost with a group of Baylor grad students in Beijing, China while on an early morning jog. We were talking, not paying attention, and found ourselves miles from where we started, but ended up finding our way back to the hotel. That was a bit scary.
5) Our cab driver in Ixtapa, Mexico took my husband and me to a deep pit with water at the bottom, and a local fisherman used some of his catch to lure the crocodiles to jump out of the water to entertain the two of us. (What were we thinking---that could have been dangerous!)
6) I grew up living at the lake and regularly caught bass, catfish, crappie, perch and (ooooh) carp.
7) My cousin and I were trying to get some persimmons from a persimmon tree one time when we were kids, and were chased by a bull. (He was unsuccessful but I ripped my pants on the barbwire fence.)
8) We have a daughter, son, and three very sweet grandchildren.
9) I met my husband in Sunday School and we have been happily married 45 years.
10) I have a personally signed autograph of the "Three Stooges."
11) I've never seen "Bigfoot," but am totally intrigued by him!
12) I'm a retired elementary school principal (as of this June) and oh, do I have some stories!
13) I picked the number 13 because that was my basketball number in high school.
