What occupation would you have if you had followed your childhood dream?

As a little girl, I always wanted to be a dancer. Even as a teen, I had this dream. My parents could not afford dance lessons. I am a good dancer, but not disciplined.

What about you?

*I just remembered this: When I was in Junior High School they did these test on all of us to see what occupation we would or could do..... I tested to be a radio disc jockey..... I am thinking that was because I had a crush on one of our local disc jockeys at that time. Good memory though. emoticon emoticon emoticon

OMG - MISSPEACHES3, me too! I always wanted to be a dancer but my parents couldn't afford lessons, either. I loved the little bit of dance we got in gym class and as an adult I took ballet classes at the community center. A friend taught me the Texas two-step. So it's always been for fun rather than as a profession.

I changed my mind often. The last I remember I wanted to be a flight attendant. Then I had to wear glasses and that ended the possibility. (It was before contact lenses.) My parents always discouraged my dreams because they thought I should be a stay at home mother. As it turned out I developed a passion to be a professional astrologer. And I can't make enough money at that to support myself. Sigh. Maybe in another lifetime . . . .

As a child, I pretended my dolls were my patients and I was their nurse. emoticon I made house calls, Listening to their tiny hearts with my little stethoscope and giving them pills to make them better! (And me too since they were tiny little candies LOL)... I grew up and became What I imagined! A nurse who loved working in Intensive care.
