Inheritance. Proverbs 1: 19. John 15. Ephesians 1:3- October 30 2020.
Most people prefer to be wealthy. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you do not base your security on money and as long as it does not control you. Jesus said: “ No one can serve two masters; for he will hate the one or l over the other......You cannot serve God and wealth.” Matthew 6:24 . Greed is often based on the emotion of fear——the fear of not having enough,or missing out on something important. For example if we grew up in our children years having to do without the basics of life, we may now have the Fear of growing hungry that drives us. We attain to safe guard this by piling up treasure here on earth. We also use money to amass material goals to satisfy our desires. The wealth we Aguirre becomes our security, identity, and goal in life. Before we know it our lives are defined by greed and empty of the meaning God has for us. That is why 1 Timothy 6:10 tells us “ The love of money is the root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” Only our Saviour can satisfy those deepest needs. Look to Him to satisfy you and experience a much better life than money could ever buy. Abundant life comes from God’s work in and through us. As we use spiritual practices to express our love for Christ and experience His love our hearts and desires become intertwined with His. Everything we seek is found in God’s powerful and eternal presence. Draw close to Him today. From start to finish our salvation includes an abundance beyond imagination. The moment we come to faith we receive very benefit mentioned in Scripture, along with the promise of future blessings. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance.
Lord Jesus thank you for the inheritance we have in You. Much more valuable than money and guaranteed by the Holy Spirit living within us. Thank You Father for working within me and giving me the promise of eternal life. You give me happiness and peace because You are part of me. You are my security and perfect Provider. Thank You for giving me true life. Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross for my sins so that I can claim this true life. It is in Your Holy Name that I pray.
