It's been awhile, things are mostly good

it was a very hot humid summer and I didn't get in my garden as often as i wanted to. because it was so humid and my knees are killing me. I went through a 3rd round of shots on the knees and it was good til about 2 weeks ago, they are telling me to get replaced! which i am going to come January some time.

I also welcomed my Granddaughter into our lives! She is now over a month old and so cute and lovable.

Mom who is 87 has been having pain in her side so we started to do tests to rule out things, weather breast or lung. turns out lung, so a biopsy is in the works to be scheduled. She has beat breast cancer and bladder cancer, so hoping for good outcome on this also. she is in good spirits and still on her own, I and my sons help when ever needed and she is close by. She is German and stubborn!mom with baby Jaycie

My son FINALLY has a job,and we have been sharing a car for a bit now. His dad is giving them an older car in good shape so that is a good thing. I am still struggling with his mild manic/ depression periods. He takes his meds periodically which is not good and of course i am mostly to blame because I am to much of a mom. I just want him well and healthy and to be independent. Help out financially as I have been carrying this all by myself and of course his brothers think I am not being harsh enough..... now that my oldest has a child hoping his perspective will change some.

I also need to start watching my money with all the things that I did in this house within the last 2 years I burned through a ton! New water heater and install, new Kitchen and bath, new furnace that died in Oct last year! this year finally fixed the sidewalk and extension, still have landscaping to attend to and need the outside door to walk in basement done i the new year. Glad I had the money to do all this, none of it was a looking forward choice, but it is now done and i just have to be a little more conservative for a bit till I start getting Social Security. Which I elected to wait a whole year on for that 8% more for the rest of my life.

So that's what has been going on.
