Do Something Kind Today

I can't tell you where the article is. But I know it's on Sparkpeople. I read it this morning. Not the completely sane, regular king of 'this morning.' Nah. I'm talking about the "I couldn't sleep so I got up at 1AM and read some stuff till 2AM" morning. (then I fell asleep and got up again at 4AM. And THAT is my REGULAR morning. That's the morning I'm pretty good at tracking.
Anywhooooo...
During that first 'morning', I read an article titled '100 things you could to to help somebody...today". I thought it was an excellent idea. So I copied it, pasted it into 'Trello' and will try to do some of the things on that list.
One of the things was "Make muffins and take some to neighbors." Although I don't bake bread, muffins or potatoes, it did make me think "maybe there is something I can do with this idea." Only a few hurdles to this. One of them being I'm going to Atlanta today. However, a step in the right direction is that I was boiling a big pot of peanuts in the crockpot at the time.
Yes. I am from the south. Georgia to be specific. And boiled peanuts are a delicacy. You can disagree if you'd like. But you'd be wrong.
Anywhooo...
I decided I could get within horseshoe range of scoring a point by giving someone some boiled peanuts. So they are in a Stanley Thermos and ready for the trip now. I'm going to give them to an office mate there who is from New England.
If I'm lucky, they'll give them back.
I like this doing good stuff!
Timers up.
Peace, Love and Understanding,
We''ll cya'll down the road.
If you don't know about Trello, it's sort of a list maker/project manager app. You can find it at Trello.com. It's a really good application. I highly recommend it.
