Getting the Loose Ends Tied Up

It's been a busy couple of weeks as we get ready to leave for Florida (12/19) and I've packed in a lot!
Got my medical stuff done and have skipped the wine on the suggestion of my cardiologist and that has made all the difference in the world. Stomach issues and indigestion have gone away. Plan to stay off wine until we get to FL and then will see. In addition to the Fosomax which may have been the "culprit" the stress over the election and Trump's shenanigans have made me a nervous wreck. Got my mammogram and all A-OK! so that's good. See podiatrist tomorrow just for a check.
Fletcher got to his vet appointment and we're all set there. His meds are all up to date and I've got 3 month supply of all of mine.
Car got checked and inspected. House watcher all lined up. Switched address for the paper and will do mail this week.
Surprised that my weight didn't really change with stopping wine, but it is what it is. Paying attention to eating healthy and moving a lot more. Decided to pay attention to water and have upped the plain water intake. Not stressing about the weight though as I'm still right in my maintenance range. Sure I'd rather be on the low end....and bet when I get back to FL and all the walking we do there, it'll settle.
Got my Christmas packages mailed out. Meanwhile my partner celebrates Hanukkah so we are lighting the candles every night and taking a pause to reflect on what is right with our lives. And that is a lot!
I started on this wellness journey in Oct 2011 so this is the 10th year of a holiday season where I focused on living a healthy life. Strangely enough this will be the easiest year because there are no parties! Stores don't have cookies and candy out, not that we're going into stores anyway.
Hope everyone is finding their way this year and staying safe. Just saw the FedEx and UPS planes arriving with the first shipment of the vaccines. Amazing and there is an end in sight.
Stay safe, stay home, wear a mask, wash your hands, and socially distance.
