I am gong to have Total knee replacement done on my right knee in January. I will be with my 87 year old mom for I hope only about a week as she has no stairs and i do getting onto the house and getting up to my bedroom. It is time, I went through the series of jell shots for about 2 years while I was working, as i will be fully retired come end of the year a good time to do it as I want to be in my garden come spring and summer. i will do the second knee either in the fall or next year same time.It will be a little weird not really having to get up and go to work but I have been enjoying the semi retirement I am in now
I lost my cat the day after Thanksgiving, Taz wasn't doing very well the day of but my son and mom were here and I did hold him a lot that day. Taz was a 24 year old Siamese cat, had him sine he was about 6 weeks old.

here he is fat and healthy. here he is the day before not doing real well sitting at my feet at the desk as that is where he always wanted to be

I miss him. i sometimes still see him walking toward the kitchen out of the corner of my eye. i want to get another cat soon.
The back yard is becoming quite the pet cemetery of dogs and cats over the years. my mom even buried her cat in my yard. don't understand why, but he is.
This year has certainly been one for the history books! I can only imagine what a lot of family's are going through this year, what with being out of work or furloughed. I makes me angry that the politicians have done this to their citizens while they themselves do not follow their own orders. People are being denied the right to go to church or be with loved ones while they are in nursing homes or hospitals, it breaks my heart to see so much suffering while they are so isolated.
There are also a lot of heart warming stories of strangers gifting money to family's in need or paying bills off. I wish I were more of the gifting money to those in need, but I am VERY GRATEFUL that I have a pension and health care that i don't have to worry to much about it. i help out when I can as i can.
My Mom is going through a second round of breast cancer in the lining of her lung, of all places! She is a trooper, the doctors are treating it will pills and she is tolerating it pretty well. She is a blessing to me also she is 87 and willing to care for ME as I recover from the knee surgery!
Josh, my prodigal son has a job and he seems to finally be catching a break. Thank you LORD for that blessing.
I also was gifted with my first granddaughter this past Oct. so God has been very good to me this past year
