In just 3 short days, the new year will be here .. with all the fresh beginnings, resolutions, sparkle, and happy there is. And we have a choice to keep that feeling with us all the next 12 months, or just to settle back into the "same old ... " sometime later in January.
2020 has been a mix for me.

I lost weight, and I gained some.
But, it was a net loss and I'm feeling energized to keep pushing.
My doctor shows my BP is down, my cholesterol is down.
And even my resting heart rate is down.

Work has been remote since March.
Never missed a single day. And I really prefer working from home, than traveling out of state, and living out of a suitcase in a hotel most of the week.

My dad died this year.
Also 14 other friends and family members. (Not from CovID, mostly health and age related)
It feels like TOO many losses in such a short time, but I find I am more appreciative of the time I have to spend with friends and family these days.

Church has been open, even while so many have been closed. Our church community is very close knit here and has been an anchor for my friends, family, and I. My grandson just celebrated his 1st Communion. And Alan & I are back to teaching 6th grade Sunday School again.

And, Spark Challenges and my Team-mates are here ... starting again for Winter. Keeping me feeling renewed and recommitted to my goals.
Wishing you all the JOY that comes with the New Year!!
