I'm slightly delayed in posting this blog as I have been working on creating new habits.
This week I am trying a meal plan structure of cereal, soup and a square meal, with small snacks in between. It's not going too badly so far :)
I am aiming to do 10 minutes activity a day, but that is proving more difficult now I am back to work. I might need to nudge my alarm a little earlier in the mornings, which I am not keen on!
The weather is so cold (for the UK) this week, so I am not in any hurry to leave the house. I will see how the weekend looks and maybe try to get a short walk for some fresh air.
I am also working on my social interactions and trying to reconnect with some relatives, which I am enjoying. Last year I came to realise how closed off I had become, whilst being heavily involved with online communities with no real significance. So I have decided to refocus my efforts to improving important relationships. I am hoping that when it is safe to travel again, I will be able to spend some time with some of these people in person and make some good memories!
Work is going ok so far this month. I need to start deciding if I want to continue on the new working pattern or revert to the old one. There are a few things to weigh up in this decision, so I just need to work through it methodically.
Hubby and I have booked our trip to Italy for September this year, so we just have to hope it goes smoothly. We have also booked to go to my parents' for Christmas, which is nice to have sorted, but if things improve sufficiently, we might make a trip over in the summer as well. It was Christmas 2019 last time I saw them, so it's a balance of doing the right thing and keeping everyone sane.
I think that is everything going on with me at the moment, so I will close now.
