List your 3 reasons/excuses on why your lifestyle (diet, exercise, sleep) plans have not been well executed in the past. Write a strategy for each one to keep yourself on track for 8 weeks. Let's learn from our past behaviors and make this our best Challenge ever!

EXCUSES

1: I have some medical conditions that limit or make it difficult to exercise and I've fallen into the mindset of either doing nothing or being scared of triggering an episode/flare/event.. I have Ménière's, Hemiplegic Migraines with TIA's, CFS, Fibro and recently CC which has caused mild lipedema - all reasons why I know I NEEEEED to lose weight so I can see 40.

2: Self motivation, Self worth, Self Love - All areas that fall short for me unfortunately.. I am a blimmin good motivator and activist for others, but when it comes to myself I get anxious about not being good enough/failing and it just leads to procrastination and unfortunately giving up.. Hence why this is the 4th time I've been on spark since 2007/2008..

3: Not planning or not sticking to plans.. Letting life get in the way because I haven't had things planned, prepped and organised.. Like the title says "plan to succeed or you'll succeed in failing"..


STRATEGIES TO SUCCEED

1: Its a fine line between pushing myself and overdoing it and ending up in an adrenal fatigue mess for several days afterwards. I am worthy of success though, and I need my body to move to be able to achieve that success. If I cannot walk outside then I need to do inside home workouts with body weight or hand weights to build up my stamina and strength - and get my lymphatic system moving to remove toxins and reduce lipedema.

2: Believe in myself. I can do this. I WILL DO THIS.

3: I'm wanting to get into journaling and having a set routine of being accountable each day by filling out areas set aside for exercise, food, study, relationships, mental health and family.. I am a visual person and seeing it set out in front of me will hopefully help me stay motivated long enough to form healthy habits.


What have you learned along the way that has really helped you?

. Don't have crap in the cupboards that will lead to binging.
. Only I am to blame for not seeing results. This is My body and my responsibility to keep it healthy.
. I am incredibly lucky to have been given a 2nd chance at life. I've wasted so much of it already by limiting myself mentally and physically. I have to start living. I deserve to start living. I want to start living.
