Wednesday

Today is kind of surreal. As I finished up at the hospital this morning, I realized that I only have four weeks of training left, before I begin the final process of becoming a board certified chaplain. Fortunately it was a quiet night, but yesterday afternoon was challenging. I spent some time with two different people who are nearing the end of life.
